Moving from and to Bel Air with professional long distance movers – A Bel Air moving company for all your relocation needs
If you’ve always wondered what it’s like to live in luxury, there’s the option of relocating to one of Los Angeles’s most expensive neighborhoods. Our Bel Air movers can help you start a life of class and extravagance by transporting your furniture and everything else you need.
Long Distance Movers have the best long-distance moving services, and our business is to help you relocate and get a second chance at life at any time of year. We have based our price rates on the inventory list you give us, and the good part is that those rates will not change unless you change the inventory list. We don’t have any hidden fees, and you can get a free quote on our website to verify that.
Our cross-country movers provide the best kinds of packing services, whether it’s standard, partial, or full packing services. Standard packing and moving apply for bulky items, assembling and disassembling furniture, and loading the moving truck. Full and partial packaging options come at a different cost, but they’re helpful for relocating your home.
In order for you to use the most out of our services, we offer two types of additional packaging options – partial and full. Partial packaging service entails our movers packing up to 15 boxes of cargo, while full packaging service includes packaging more than 15. When you decide which option you prefer, contact our office and provide them with a complete inventory list of items.
If you want to ship fragile or valuable items that need extra care and attention, we offer custom crating as a part of our cross-country moving services, too. We can use custom crates for an additional fee, which are usually made from wood and other sturdy, protective materials.
Besides packaging, our company proudly offers a car shipping service, too. Many people drive around Los Angeles, and we’re sure you don’t want to stand out from the crowd. We can transport your vehicle in an open or enclosed trailer and do pickup and delivery either door-to-door or terminal-to-terminal.
Open trailers are suitable for the budget and can fit up to nine vehicles. The disadvantage is exposure to elements like rain and wind, as well as dust. Enclosed trailers are a safer and quite suitable option for shipping expensive and valuable vehicles, but they come at a higher cost. You can use our website to get a free quote for car shipping, too.
Our long-distance movers do pickup and delivery either door-to-door or terminal-to-terminal. The first is more expensive, but the pickup and delivery are direct – to and from your driveway unless our transport truck can’t reach it for any reason. On the other hand, terminal-to-terminal pickup and delivery are cheaper, but you need to take your car to the nearest LDM parking lot or office space, and we’ll deliver it to one of our office parking lots at the place of destination.
As a highly professional cross-country moving company, LDM offers storage service free of charge for thirty days. So whether it’s furniture, clothes, or smaller items, you won’t be charged for the first month of keeping your stuff in our professional storage units. However, there will be additional costs if you decide to keep your things in storage longer than the free month.
In order to have happy customers and a reputable business, LDM offers mandatory liability insurance, which is 60 cents per pound of damaged goods. This type of insurance covers all of the items that both you and our moving experts have packed. On the other hand, Full Value Replacement insurance can cover the things packed by our experts, despite being pricier. Our long-distance moving company offers insurance for vehicle transport, too. For open trailers, we cover damages up to $100,000 and $500,000 for enclosed trailers.
Bel Air is a prominent area of Los Angeles, known as one of the three B’s – the most expensive neighborhoods in the LA area, next to Beverly Hills and Brentwood. It’s also considered part of the Platinum Triangle together with Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills, which is a name for these adjacent neighborhoods riddled with multi-million dollar homes. It was founded in 1923 by Alphonzo Bell, a wealthy property owner, and his wife, who named all of the streets in the area with Italian names.
BA is home to the Hannah Carter Japanese Garden, which was opened in 1961 and built on inspiration from Kyoto and its Japanese zen gardens. It also houses the American Jewish University, a private university of Judaism. As mentioned already, the area is quite expensive, with an average home price of $2,000,000 and rent at $2,500. It’s divided into East Gate Old BA, West Gate BA, and Upper BA.
In case you get sick and tired of renting out an expensive home in Los Angeles’s most expensive neighborhood, our relocation experts can help you leave and start anew somewhere more affordable. You can contact our company office during business time or visit our website, and ask for a relocation quote so your move can begin efficiently and without worries. Just recently, I bought a used car in San Diego despite living in LA and needed a way for my car to be transported to me. Thankfully, my friend referred me to this place that was also in San Diego. Transporting a car could very expensive, but it was more affordable than I thought! so I scheduled everything accordingly and had them deliver my car to me. It was definitely worth it since my car was fairly cheap and my dad knew how he was gonna fix it so everything was worth it. They got my car to me and had no problem picking up as scheduled with the seller and no damage or hiccups during the transport! Very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend them to my friends or anyone!
My sister in Portland was relocating to another country and she needed to get rid of a lot of her furniture and even some appliances and she decided to let me inherit them. She used Long Distance Movers in Portland and they effectively communicated with me when they would schedule to come deliver her stuff to my place I’m SF. Apparently she told me if I wanted to keep all her things to at least pay for their service in which I did. Good thing we coordinated because I just moved in to my new place and needed all the furnishings. I met the minimum for their service and they provided a reasonable contract and in turn everything turned out great! She even told how they carefully wrapped and packed up everything as well. Definitely a great service to use!
I was helping my friend move back down to California from Seattle. There’s a lot of moving companies but I went with this one because of their quote per item and distance moved was something she can afford. Then we set a schedule for moving and they came prepared with their trucks and Mark was their lead guy and helped us out with everything. He coordinated the whole move gracefully with no damage and even covered her things to protect, a nice touch.
Especially with moving large appliances, I was appreciative to receive help moving all of the heavier objects we had.
The movers delivered all of the belongings safely to the new house and were again, super punctual with their delivery.
My car is a really old Volvo and since it is now considered a vintage/retro automobile, I was extremely weary about having it transported to my area. Honestly, I don’t know much at all about these services, but I was really worried about moving companies in general, especially because of the risks involved, including damages that may happen during handling while being transported.
During my last move, I used a different moving service and it was a nightmare. I paid a lot and had a vintage, German-made GRAND piano get scratched and no one took responsibility. It was a huge disappointment but this time, I decided to look elsewhere and took a chance with Long Distance Moving and Auto transport, and they really delivered.
Everything came perfect and the price was less than $800 for the whole service… comparing it to my previous service, I’m shocked to say the least. The price is great, and for someone who was worrying like me, they had a policy where they would cover any damages (if they should incur) during the move/transportation and it put me to ease. I can’t say enough good things.
I bought a car in Tarant County Texas since the sales tax is non existent and my dad suggested getting a car from his friend’s used dealership. My dad offered to get me the car, but I would have to only pay the shipping. Long distance movers had auto shipping and it was a good price to get my car transported from there to the bay. It was really affordable for me and when I got my car, it was still perfect in the condition in which we bought it for. They were very professional through whole process and informative. Definitely a 5 star rating for the service and professionalism!
I got a car while I was visiting my family in the Bay. So I needed it to be brought down to SoCal, because I wasn’t finished with my vacation yet and went by plane. After searching for moving companies, I found one in San Fransisco.
Long distance movers offered me a good rate per mile compared to other companies. The workers reassured me on the condition of my new car when it would arrive safely in SoCal. They said they would insure the car from any damages, and there’s no need to worry.
I’m glad I found this company because they made me feel like I was in good hands, and they definitely proved it to me. If you need a moving company, be sure to check this one out because they made my life a lot easier!
I was in NY over the summer and when it was over I moved back home. During that timw I also needed to store things and then have it shipped to me back home later. Thankfully I was able to do that with Long Distance Movers! They were able to store my stuff until I was home to be shipped back to me. The space in NY apartments are very scarce and sk this is the way I had to keep my things instead of asking my friends there to do so. My experience was a pleasant and stress-less one and I have zero complaints with their service! A huge recommend!!
My uncle is no longer driving his car and wanted to ship me his car to keep and make room in his garage so he can store his other belongings so a family friend can move and do some care taking.
I did some hunting and came across Houston Long Distance Movers and Auto Transport as well as some others. They were one of the first one who got back to me with quote that was more than reasonable for cost per mile in an open trailer. My uncle was more than happy to hear that I took care everything for him and they were really courteous and helpful when they came and picked up his car.
A week later the car was transported and delivered with care. Contract all signed and done. Now I gotta new used car just like that! I highly recommend this team should you need some good pricing and service!
This was my first time using a moving and transportation service. I had a very good experience with Manhattan Long Distance Movers and Auto Transport. I was attending college around the area in New York and once I graduated, I had so much stuff that I wanted to take back home with me in Washington. This would be shipping across the country so I know that I needed a long distance service.
I checked out the website and filled in my information to get a quote. I was surprised by how affordable the price was, considering I am moving all my stuff across the country. It made it easy for college students to be able to use the service. Anyways, I called them and had an excellent customer experience. The representative was friendly and attentive to my needs. They did not try to up-sell me anything and was very fair in the pricing and guidelines of what to expect next. They described the entire process to me and I felt very confident and at ease in continuing with the process.
The movers came over to my apartment and moved everything into a truck very fast and safely. These are real professionals who want to make your move as smooth as possible. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with this company and after moving back home, everything came in about 2 weeks to my home address. Nothing was missing or damaged. I would recommend this service to anyone in the New York/Manhattan area who want to move long-distance while maintaining affordable prices.
So my boyfriend is actually the person that found Long Distance Movers and I swear it saved me time and money! My initial plan was to have my family help us make the long drive from Seattle to Los Angeles and just penny pinch that way.. but nope! My boyfriend came thru and he said that he was told that LDM was professional and are very competitive in pricing so why not?! He said that he booked them and just let him do the rest (typical alpha male stuff I guess)..
I was a little hesitant at first but 2 people showed up on time! And also were very well prepared, it’s like they knew how to tackle on each project I was throwing at them and on top of that with a smile! They wrapped/boxed everything so quickly I was so impressed! I would definitely refer them to my friends and family in the area, I can’t stop saying this enough but they were polite, proficient, quick and also not too expensive.
Moving is such a headache and stressful but I swear I wasn’t this time! Thank you LDM and to my bf for finding them!!
My sis graduated from Reed College earlier this year so i flew over to Portland to help her move back home. She had a lot of stuff she decided to keep last minute, more than we anticipated to ship back ourselves. We aren’t super familiar with moving services in the area but decided to go with Long Distance Movers since they responded with a quote the quickest and offered to have everything packed and loaded before we had to catch our flight in a couple days.
My sis and I are pretty weak so they were a really big help especially with packaging her desk and other big items. There were 2 movers and they packaged and cleared out everything quickly. Honestly, I don’t know how we were planning to move all her things ourselves. Us two wouldn’t have made it past the apartment stairs so we definitely needed Long Distance Movers.
Moving away from home for the first time can be a pretty daunting task. Luckily, Long Distance Movers had my back. I recently moved down from Sacramento to SoCal for university and needed a way to move a lot of my belongings down with me. I was originally recommended by a friend who had used their services before. All it took was a quick message through Yelp and they replied quickly with an estimate and more questions about my inquiry.
On the day of the actual move, they were punctual and loaded my stuff in what seemed like no time. Once I came down, everything had been delivered safely and was in great condition. My housemate who received my stuff said they unpacked my stuff neatly and without much obstruction at all! Communicating with them was seamless and super straightforward, and kudos to the driver as well! Overall, I’d say my experience was great and I’d definitely recommend this to anyone in the Sacramento area who wants to move something and are afraid of their items being damaged.
